Ingredients

  • 2 lbs SunFed Ranch 80/20 Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (or 1 1/2 teaspoons agave nectar)
  • 1 medium white or yellow onion finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 clove garlic chopped (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • Dash or two of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 10 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, combine beef, water, mustard, and sugar. Simmer over medium heat until the beef is cooked through, about 5 minutes. Break up clumps of meat with a spoon.
  2. Drain the fat – but leave just a bit in there for flavor
  3. Add the ground beef to the slow cooker
  4. Add all remaining ingredients to the slow cooker except for the buns
  5. Give it a mix
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours
  7. Top with your favorites: ketchup, more mustard, mayo, sliced pickles, slice of American or Cheddar cheese…so good
