It’s on a stick. It’s in a skillet. It’s the perfect party appetizer aaaaand it’s all gone. Kefta, Kafta, Kofta – no matter how you spell it, when you surround it with a pan-toasted Greek flatbread like pita, thin-sliced cucumbers, hummus, and a yogurt dressing or spicy red tomato sauce, you’ll be taking your tastebuds on a Mediterranean pleasure cruise.

  • 2 lbs SunFed Ranch grass fed ground beef 
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp ground coriander 
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin 
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika 


  1. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, coriander, salt, cumin and paprika into the ground beef with your hands. 
  2. By rolling the meat in between your hands, form 16 sausage-shaped patties—about 2 oz each—and insert a skewer into each one. 
  3. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet and cook the patties in 2 batches
  4. over medium high heat, turning once (5-6 minutes per side). 
  5. Rest them on a paper towel to let the oil drain. 
  6. Serve with homemade or store-bought harissa chili sauce or tzatziki.
